“The issues which diminish the lives of the most vulnerable, the most easily hurt in our society, deserve better visibility…”

Catherine Gillies, CA
National President
Voice For Life Incorporated

Public officials and community leaders must be reminded that they have an obligation to shape our laws and our public processes in a way that ensures the safety of lives in their care.

It is difficult to consider the reality that in New Zealand today, one pregnancy in every four ends in abortion.  Every day, over 60 women go through the process of having their pregnancy terminated with the promise that they can now, ‘get on with their lives.’

Hiding the losses won’t make them go away

The reality, however, is that for many, it is instead the beginning of a lifetime of deep hurt, unresolved grief and an inexplicable sense of loss.

We might well consider who really benefits from making abortion even more accessible to women at a time of crisis, or question how the public is better protected by the with-holding of research findings?

Your Voice Matters…

New members to Voice For Life join a great body of wisdom.  Many bring to the organisation a personal experience of abortion loss or other life-changing event.  These are gifts of great value and add authenticity to our claim that people truly matter.
